Kane Communications is looking to hire Project Managers for structured cabling work.  This position would be a full time, salary position with PTO, medical and retirement benefits.  This position would report to the VP of Operations with the ability to work from home at times.

Job Duties:
  • Perform a kick-off meeting with the estimator of the project after reviewing the specifications & drawings.
  • Coordinate all project activities including but not limited to scheduling, procuring materials & equipment, preconstruction submittals, project tracking & job costing, change orders, and project close-outs.
  • Perform site inspections & estimates / proposals on smaller size projects.
  • Assist in reviewing contracts pertaining to the SOW.
  • Provide monthly cost to complete / WIP reports.
  • Utilize Kane project management programs and software.
Education/Skill Requirements:
  • Must possess a High School diploma or GED equivalency.
  • Formal project management certification such as PMP or BICSI RTPM preferred.
  • Must have (5) years’ experience in telecommunications or related trades in the construction field.
  • Must be proficient with basic computer skills such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & MS Project).
  • Must have a good work ethic with a desire to constantly improve.
  • Must have basic leadership skills with a professional and positive approach to managing people.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects and crews simultaneously.
  • Must possess a valid driver license with a clean driving record.
